Availability of agricultural machinery in agricultural organizations, 2024–2025
Fifty-four thousand one hundred seventy-seven combines were recorded in Russian agricultural organizations at the beginning of 2024, and by 2025, their number changed to one thousand seven hundred eighty-three units. The information is presented by federal districts and regions, allowing for a comparison of equipment availability across the entire country. Rosstat prepared this data based on annual reports covering the state of the agricultural machinery fleet in the agricultural sector over a two-year period
Chart of the number of combines in Russian agricultural organizations in 2024–2025
Set in numbers
Rosstat data for 2024–2025. Rows: 277, periods: 2. Breakdown: Russian Federation — grain harvesters; Russian Federation — corn harvesters; Russian Federation — forage harvesters; Russian Federation — flax harvesters; Russian Federation — potato harvesters and others
Russian Federation — grain harvesters: the indicator decreased from 54,177 to 53,662 for 2024–2025 — by 0.95%. Of the 25 largest rows, 10 increased, 15 decreased
All table numbers are series: 277
How to read this table
The table rows are organized by geographic feature, starting with total data for the Russian Federation and ending with indicators for individual federal districts. This structure allows for comparing combine availability in a specific region with national values. The difference between rows is based on territorial affiliation, making it easy to identify which districts have the largest harvesting machinery fleet and how the load is distributed among agricultural organizations under current conditions
What is visible in these numbers
Five highest values: Russian Federation — grain harvesters (54,177), Central federal district — grain harvesters (11,626), Russian Federation — forage harvesters (10,327), Central federal district — forage harvesters (2,335), Voronezh region — grain harvesters (1,934). The gap between the highest and lowest is 6,772 times. The top five account for 92.6% of the total for all positions — the distribution is heavily skewed toward the top
Observations are annual, with 2 periods in the dataset. Of 50 possible values, 50 (100%) are filled, meaning the table is almost entirely complete
The same indicator for other periods

Period and application
The data covers the 2024–2025 period and is available in Rosstat electronic bulletins. Information is updated as data is received from agricultural enterprises. The statistics are useful for heads of agricultural enterprises, agricultural machinery market analysts, and representatives of industry departments to assess the industry's technical equipment and plan the supply of new machines to the constituent entities of the Russian Federation
How it is calculated
This year's harvest and livestock numbers determine next year's procurement prices: processors need such rows earlier than the supplier's price list
