Renewal rate of agricultural machinery by year
The percentage of new machinery purchased relative to the total operating stock at year-end is shown in annual values from 2020 to 2025. The rows are categorized by machine type: tractors without earth-moving attachments, tractors with mounted earth-moving and land reclamation implements, and windrow harvesters. These data track the rate at which farmers replaced obsolete machinery with modern models over the six-year period

Set in numbers
Coverage: 17 series, 2020 through 2025, 6 reporting periods. 100 values in total.
Between 2020 and 2025 “Tractors (excluding tractors mounted with earth-moving, reclamation and other machines)” declined from 4.2 to 2.9 — 31.5%. The highest value in the series is 4.4 in 2021.

How to read this table
The various machine categories allow for a comparison of modernization rates for specific machine types. One can observe the renewal of main traction tractors compared to specialized land reclamation or harvesting machinery. As the calculation is in percentages, the values clearly show the share of new arrivals in the total stock of each machine type, helping to assess the actual intensity of agricultural technical re-equipment
What is visible in these numbers
The largest value belongs to “Maize harvesters” — 6.6; the smallest is “Sowing machines — Milking machines and units - total” at 1.6. The gap between them is 4.1-fold.

Period and application
The statistics cover the period from 2020 to 2025 and are published as part of bulletins on the state of agriculture. Rosstat data are useful for agronomists, engineers, and economists analyzing the technical equipment levels of enterprises. The information is available in electronic versions of the bulletins and allows for assessing annual trends in machinery fleet renewal
