The indicator reflects the share of students whose knowledge level does not meet the basic requirements of the Federal State Educational Standards. The calculation includes schoolchildren aged 10 and older. The statistics allow for an assessment of the quality of curriculum implementation in the country's general education organizations. Values are presented in percent and cover the period from 2020 to 2025 for the Russian Federation, as well as for the Belgorod and Bryansk regions

How to read this table

Comparing annual data helps track changes in the quality of school education throughout the specified period. For the Russian Federation, the value in 2020 was 26.4 percent, and by 2025 it decreased to 13.1 percent. Regional indicators allow for a comparison of student performance across different constituent entities of the country. When analyzing, attention should be paid to the trends in the increase or decrease of this share, which indicates the changing effectiveness of the educational process in schools
