Livestock production per head present at the beginning of the year
Livestock volume produced per head is measured in live weight, based on the livestock population at the beginning of the year. The statistics include only non-small agricultural enterprises. The list is broken down by territory, providing data for the Russian Federation as a whole, federal districts, and specific oblasts, allowing for a comparison of productivity across different regions

How to read this table
Data for 2024 and 2025 allow for comparison of current results with the previous period. The list contains 91 rows, including national totals and data for individual constituent entities, such as Belgorod Oblast or the Central Federal District. Variations in values between rows help identify where per-head production is above or below the national average
What is visible in these numbers
Five largest values: Kaluga Oblast — Pigs (310.2), Kostroma Oblast — Pigs (270.5), Ivanovo Oblast — Pigs (261.8), Russian Federation — Pigs (227.5), Bryansk Oblast — Pigs (226.5). Gap between the largest and smallest — 20.4 times. The top five account for 32% of the total across all items
Observations are annual and cover 2 periods. Cells with numbers: 50 out of 50 (100%); data gaps are virtually absent
The same indicator for other periods
These series cannot be stitched together Over the common period 2024 values diverge — Rosstat recalculated the indicator using a revised methodology. They cannot be combined into a single chart: a break would appear at the junction, which did not actually occur
