Educational attainment of employed women and men according to the 2020 Population Census
Twenty-eight million five hundred forty-nine thousand women and a corresponding number of men aged 15 and older form the basis of this statistics, reflecting the education level of those employed in private households. Table rows are broken down by levels of vocational and general education, allowing for a comparison of the working population's qualifications. Columns contain both absolute figures in thousands of people and relative gender distribution in percent, making it possible to assess gender differences in the structure of employment by level of training

Men account for 51.1 percent of the total number of employed persons who reported their education level, which serves as the basis for analyzing data by sex and professional training at the time of the census

Period and application
Data were obtained during the 2020 All-Russian Population Census and represent a snapshot of data at a specific point in time without subsequent annual updates. The materials will be useful to sociologists, labor market researchers, and anyone studying gender aspects of employment and the qualification composition of Russia's working population. Rosstat prepared this report for publication in the Women and Men in Russia 2024 yearbook, providing access to detailed statistics on education levels in the country
