This indicator records the number of men and women in Russia receiving a pension for the first time during the reporting years. Values are presented in two formats: in thousands of people and as a percentage of the total number of new pensioners. The figures allow for a comparison of trends by sex and an identification of shifts in gender proportions

Absolute values should not be compared across different years without considering the total number of pensioners
