How to read this table
Differences between the rows allow for an assessment of the prevalence of various languages in the okrug and the role played by state or foreign languages in communication. By comparing indicators across different language groups, the number of speakers for each of the thirty-six mentioned languages can be observed. The data is not time-series based, as it is a one-time statistical snapshot from the census results

The data was prepared based on materials from Volume 5 of the 2020 All-Russian Population Census results. This information will be useful to demographers, ethnographers, linguists, and anyone studying the linguistic situation and ethnic composition of the population in Russia's autonomous okrugs within the census framework, as well as social policy specialists
