Each row provides values for the total group of women and for specific age categories. Comparing these indicators reveals how preferences for a particular method change with age. For example, the use of barrier methods or hormonal contraceptives can be compared between young women and the group aged 40 and older. This allows for an assessment of the structure of contraceptive use across different demographic segments of the population
