This indicator measures the share of low-income families in the population, calculated based on sample surveys of income and participation in social programs. The series provides aggregate data for the Russian Federation without breakdown by region or category. The data covers the period from 2013 to 2024 and reflects the annual dynamics of the share of such households in the total number of households

1) Малоимущие домашние хозяйства - домохозяйства, имеющие среднедушевые денежные доходы ниже величины прожиточного минимума (начиная с 2021 года - ниже границы бедности). Величина прожиточного минимума/граница бедности представляет собой расчетную величину, исходя из фактического состава обследуемого домохозяйства и величины прожиточного минимума/границы бедности по социально-демографическим группам населения, установленной в субъекте Российской Федерации по месту проживания обследуемого домохозяйства.
2) Данные приведены без учета статистической информации по Донецкой Народной Республике (ДНР), Луганской Народной Республике (ЛНР), Запорожской и Херсонской областям.
