The number of children under 18 from families eligible for social support measures funded by regional budgets is recorded annually nationwide. The table presents a single row aggregating all children from such family categories for the Russian Federation. Period and application
Statistics are collected annually and reflect the current status of support for eligible family categories. Rosstat data is relevant for planning budget expenditures on social needs and assessing the scale of public support. Data for the 2011–2024 period can be used to analyze demographic processes and social policy

2) C учетом численности детей, за которых получены компенсации части родительской платы за их содержание в государственных, муниципальных и иных дошкольных и образовательных организациях.
3) С 2017 г. - без учета численности детей, за которых получены компенсации части родительской платы за их содержание в государственных, муниципальных и иных дошкольных и образовательных организациях.
4) С 2020 по 2023 гг. - с учетом численности детей в возрасте от 3 до 7 лет включительно из малоимущих семей.
5) С 2022 г. - без учета статистической информации по Донецкой Народной Республике (ДНР), Луганской Народной Республике (ЛНР), Запорожской и Херсонской областям.
6) С 2024 г. - без учета численности детей в возрасте от 3 до 7 лет включительно из малоимущих семей.
