From 2021 to 2026, the minimum subsistence level for children under 16 changed in every constituent entity of the Russian Federation, as reflected in this table. The rows represent individual regions as well as aggregate indicators for the Russian Federation, allowing for easy comparison of support levels across different parts of the country. Each column corresponds to a calendar year, enabling the tracking of trends in the amount recorded by Rosstat to assess the standard of living for children in a specific constituent entity

Table notes: Since 2021, the procedure and frequency for calculating the subsistence minimum have been changed based on Federal Law No. 473-FZ of 29 December 2020 "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of the Russian Federation". Since 1 January 2022 — in accordance with Federal Law No. 390-FZ of 6 December 2021
1) С 2021 г. изменен порядок и периодичность расчета величины прожиточного минимума на основании Федерального закона от 29 декабря 2020 г. No 473-ФЗ "О внесении изменений в отдельные законодательные акты Российской Федерации". С 2021 г. данные о величине прожиточного минимума устанавливаются на соответствующий год (с годовой периодичностью): в целом по Российской Федерации – Правительством Российской Федерации; органами власти субъектов Российской Федерации – по каждому субъекту Российской Федерации.
2) С 1 января 2022 г. – в соответствии с Федеральным законом от 6 декабря 2021 г. No 390-ФЗ.
3) C 1 июня 2022 г. – в соответствии с постановлением Правительства Российской Федерации от 28 мая 2022 г. No 973 с учетом индексации величины прожиточного минимума на 10%, по данным Минтруда России (https://mintrud.gov.ru/social/social/1269).
4) В соответствии с Федеральным законом от 5 декабря 2022 г. No 470-ФЗ "О приостановлении действия отдельных положений статьи 4 Федерального закона "О прожиточном минимуме в Российской Федерации" величина прожиточного минимума на душу населения и по основным социально-демографическим группам населения на 2023 и 2024 годы устанавливается федеральным законом о федеральном бюджете на соответствующий финансовый год и на плановый период (Федеральный закон от 5 декабря 2022 г. No 466-ФЗ).
5) На 2024 г. – в соответствии с Федеральным заоном от 27 ноября 2023 г. No 540-ФЗ.
6) На 2026 г. – в соответствии с Федеральным заоном от 28 ноября 2025 г. No 426-ФЗ.
7) По указанным субъектам Российской Федерации величина прожиточного минимума органами власти субъектов Российской Федерации не устанавливается.
