The share of schools equipped with internet access for educational purposes is shown in this table for Russia and all regions for the period 2018‑2024. The data track the digitalisation of educational institutions over seven years. The value for the Russian Federation changed from 93.9 to 94.4 percent. Each row corresponds to a separate subject, federal district or the national total, enabling comparison of learning conditions across the country

Differences between rows are based on the territorial affiliation of the educational organisations. You can compare indicators for specific regions with the national results or federal‑district data. Because the information is given in percent, it is convenient to assess network coverage at the country level and identify regions with the highest or lowest school‑access shares. Comparing annual values shows progress in digital infrastructure development in each subject over the whole period

What is visible in these numbers

Top five values: Vladimir Region (99.7), Voronezh Region (99.4), Tambov Region (99.1), Komi Republic (98.4), Lipetsk Region (97.7). The top five account for 20.6% of the total for all positions

Period and application

Statistics are updated annually and reflect progress towards Sustainable Development Goal targets related to education quality. The publication contains data from 2018 to 2024, allowing analysts and education authorities to monitor the pace of digitalisation of the teaching process. Current information is needed to assess the availability of modern technologies in Russian schools and to track regional target performance over the long term. Rosstat prepares this report based on regular sectoral observations of school infrastructure
