Employed Russians in 2025: who works, how many and at what age
The indicator covers all residents of Russia with a main job. The table identifies three key groups: independent workers, dependent employees, and total employed. For each category, data are provided on the number of persons (in thousands) and the average age (in years). This allows for an assessment of employment structure and the age characteristics of different worker categories

The table rows show not only absolute employment figures but also the average age, providing insight into how population aging affects the labor market. Particular attention should be paid to the difference between independent and dependent workers: the former are more often composed of mature specialists, whereas dependent employees are more evenly distributed by age. Comparing the data helps identify trends in employment structure and age dynamics
