Production of major types of products: transport vehicles, January
Every January, Rosstat updates data on the types of vehicles and components produced by Russian enterprises. The table contains 652 rows, ranging from internal combustion engines to trailers, with each row providing an OKPD2 code, units of measurement, and year-to-date production volumes. This allows for identifying leading products and those with minimal volumes, as indicators are presented in specific units of measurement for each type of equipment

How to read this table
Table rows are categorized by product type, including finished vehicles, engines, trailers, and semi-trailers. To compare production across different types, refer to the 'Period from the beginning of the reporting year' column, which provides quantitative indicators for January. Various units of measurement, such as units or kilograms, are specified in the OKPD2 Code (OKEI, OKATO) column, enabling precise identification of output volumes for each product group
What is visible in these numbers
Set indicators: OKPD2 code (OKEI, OKATO); Reporting month; Previous month; Period from the beginning of the reporting year
Of 100 possible values, 100 (100%) are filled, meaning the table is almost entirely filled

Period and application
Rosstat compiles this statistics monthly, enabling the tracking of output volumes across a wide range of items in the transport engineering industry. Manufacturers, investors, and analysts use these figures to assess production activity at the start of the year. Data is updated regularly according to the official publication schedule, providing timely information on the vehicle and component market immediately following the end of the reporting period
How it is calculated
Output indicators are used to estimate demand for raw materials and equipment, in procurement planning, and in comparing industries with each other
