Monthly sales volumes of butter, butter pastes, and clarified butter in tonnes are recorded for wholesale trade organizations with primary activities under codes 46, 45.11.1, 45.19.1, 45.31.1, and 45.40.1. The sample includes only companies that are not small businesses and have an average number of employees exceeding 15 people. The statistics cover the period from January to December 2021, providing a detailed overview of the activities of large wholesale players in the dairy market across the country

Comparing these series allows for the identification of geographical specifics in the distribution of wholesale butter flows throughout the year. For example, sales in Russia in January amounted to 12182.31 tonnes, while by December the value reached 18860.3 tonnes, clearly reflecting the monthly activity of large wholesale organizations in the reporting period
