How to read this table

The table rows allow for a comparison of sales volume at the national, Central Federal District, and Moscow Oblast levels. Comparing these series helps determine the share of a specific region in the total Russian sales volume of refrigeration equipment. Monthly figures illustrate seasonal demand fluctuations throughout the year, from January to December

What is visible in these numbers

Table columns: January; February; March; April; June; July; August; September; October*; November*; December*

Out of 204 possible values, 141 are filled (69.1%). The data is sparse — for many items, observations were not conducted for the entire period, and summary totals for them should not be calculated

Period and application

Statistics are collected for wholesale organizations that are not small businesses and have more than 15 employees. Unit data for 2022 is useful for retail chain specialists, commodity market analysts, and household appliance manufacturers to assess sales volumes

How it is calculated

Such figures help distinguish a growing market from a market where shares are simply being redistributed among suppliers
