Wholesale companies sold seven hundred eighty-eight thousand four hundred seventy-one tons of 92–95 octane gasoline in January 2022, and the figure reached 903817.1 tons by December. The statistics cover organizations with more than 15 employees that are not classified as small businesses. The table shows monthly sales volumes for the entire year, allowing for the tracking of seasonal fluctuations in demand and business activity in the wholesale fuel market over twelve months

Period and application
The data are for 2022 and are presented by month, with December noted as a preliminary result. The information was prepared by Rosstat for commodity market analysts, energy sector representatives, and specialists monitoring petroleum product turnover. The data allow for an accurate assessment of the contribution of large wholesale organizations to regional fuel supplies and help compare company performance across different constituent entities of the Federation throughout the reporting period

Wholesale turnover shows how much goods actually pass through the region and where it makes sense to place a warehouse
As noted in the source itself: data for the Russian Federation were compiled without taking into account statistical information for the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), Luhansk People's Republic (LPR), Zaporozhye and Kherson regions
