Production of main types of products in the Siberian Federal District
Eight years of industrial development in the Siberian Federal District are presented in this table through the production volumes of major products. Eighty-four rows record annual indicators for each item, including the extraction of hard and brown coal, natural and associated gas, and raw iron ore from 2017 to 2024. The data tracks resource output dynamics, where each commodity is measured in its own units, such as millions of tons or billions of cubic meters
- Flour from cereals, vegetables and other plant crops; mixtures thereof, thousand tonnes
- Milk (excluding raw), thousand tonnes
- Vegetable oils and their fractions, unrefined, thousand t
- Cereals, cereal groats and pellets not elsewhere classified, thousand t
- Short-shelf-life bakery products, thousand tonnes
- Semi-finished meat and meat-containing products, chilled or frozen, thousand t
- Hard and brown coal, million t
- Beef, pork, lamb, goat meat, horsemeat and meat of other equines, venison and meat of other cervids (fresh, chilled or cooled), thousand tonnes
- Gingerbread and similar sweet biscuits; sweet biscuits; wafers and wafer sheets; cakes and pastries of long-term storage3), thousand t

How to read this table
Differences between rows are determined by product type, facilitating comparisons of extraction rates for specific mineral resources within the district. Comparing indicators for a single row across different years illustrates how production intensity changed in a specific industrial sector. For example, hard and brown coal extraction was 327 million tons in 2017, whereas by 2024 the volume decreased to 304 million tons, reflecting the overall picture of changes in Siberia's mining industry
What is visible in these numbers
Top five values: Flour of cereals, vegetables and other plant crops… (2,112), Milk, excluding raw, thousand t (945), Vegetable oils and their unrefined fractions (745.3), Groats, meal of coarse grinding and pellets from cereals… (629.1), Short-shelf-life bakery products… (603.1). The gap between the highest and lowest is 277.9 times. The top five account for 67.7% of the total across all items — the distribution is heavily skewed toward the top
