Production of main types of products in the Volga Federal District, 2017–2022
Output volumes of oil, gas, salt, and other industrial products in the Volga Federal District are presented for the period from 2017 to 2022. The nomenclature of goods, including dehydrated oil and natural gas, is listed in 112 rows. Units of measurement are specified separately for each item—millions of tons for oil, billions of cubic meters for gas, and thousands of tons for salt—therefore, indicators should be viewed within each row rather than compared directly with one another

Set in numbers
Rosstat data for 2017–2022. Rows: 112, periods: 6. Breakdown by items: Dehydrated, desalted and stabilized oil, incl…; Natural and associated gas, billion m3; Salt and sodium chloride pure, sea water, thousand t; Salt and sodium chloride pure, sea water, thousand t — salt…; Salt and sodium chloride pure, sea water, thousand t — Meat… and others
Salt and sodium chloride pure, sea water, thousand t — Compound feed, thousand t: the indicator increased from 5 465 to 6 889 over 2017–2022 — by 26.1%. The highest value is 6 889 (2022), the lowest is 5 465 (2017). This is an average annual growth of 4.74%. Up to 2020 the change was +16.2%, after — +8.51%. Of the 25 largest rows, 18 increased, 7 decreased
All table numbers are series: 112
How to read this table
Rows are categorized by product type, allowing for the tracking of specific items over a six-year period. The data provides both general industrial sector trends for the district and indicators for individual product types. For example, the production of dehydrated, desalinated, and stabilized oil was 118 units in 2017 and changed to 115 by 2022. Comparing annual values provides insight into the production stability of each of the 112 product types across the district's regions
What is visible in these numbers
Five highest values: Salt and sodium chloride pure, sea water, thous… (6 889), Salt and sodium chloride pure, sea water, thous… (6 224), Salt and sodium chloride pure, sea water, thous… (3 783), Salt and sodium chloride pure, sea water, thous… (1 989), Salt and sodium chloride pure, sea water, thous… (1 800). The gap between the highest and lowest is 302.1 times. The top five account for 68.3% of the total across all items — the distribution is heavily skewed toward the top
Annual observations, the dataset contains 6 observation periods. There are 150 values in the table out of 150 possible, that is 100%, meaning the table is almost completely filled
