Production of main types of products in the Central Federal District, 2017–2022
From 2017 to 2022, the Central Federal District produced key types of products, including crude iron ore, iron ore concentrate, and iron ore pellets. The indicators are grouped into 140 rows, where each product type is represented as a separate item with annual values. Production volumes of crude iron ore during this period changed from 143 to 137 million tonnes, reflecting the overall industry dynamics in the region over six years of observation

Set in numbers
Rosstat data for 2017–2022. Rows: 140, periods: 6. Shown by items: Iron ore (crude), million t; Iron ore concentrate, million t; Iron ore pellets (oxidised), million t; Beef, pork, mutton, goat meat,…; Edible offal of cattle, pigs, sheep,… and others
Flour of cereals, vegetables and other plant crops; mixtures…: the indicator rose from 3,000 to 3,165 over 2017–2022 — by 5.52%. The highest value was 3,165 (2022), the lowest was 2,934 (2019). This is an average annual growth of 1.08%. Up to 2020 the change was −1.59%, after that +7.22%. Of the 25 largest rows, 19 increased, 6 decreased
All table numbers are series: 140
How to read this table
Different product types, such as ore, concentrate, and pellets, occupy separate rows, which helps to compare their output in each specific year. Values can be compared both vertically, by tracking changes in the output of a single product over time, and horizontally, to see the production volume of all product types in a comparable period. This allows for an assessment of the scale of industrial activity in the district and the identification of changes in iron ore raw material production cycles
What is visible in these numbers
The five highest values: Flour of cereals, vegetables and other plant crops (3,165), Unrefined vegetable oils and their fractions (2,609), Semi-finished meat products, meat-containing products, chilled… (2,094), Meat and edible offal of poultry,… (1,994), Beef, pork, mutton,… (1,774). The gap between the highest and lowest is 89.2 times. The top five account for 57% of the total across all items — the distribution is heavily skewed toward the top
Annual observations, 6 periods in the dataset. Of 150 possible values, 150 are filled (100%); data gaps are virtually absent

Period and application
The statistics cover the period from 2017 to 2022 and are updated by Rosstat as annual reports become available. This information is necessary for analysts, business representatives, and specialists studying the state of the industrial sector in the Central Federal District. Using this data helps to see the actual production volumes of raw materials and their processed products, which simplifies the monitoring of current production indicators of the regional economy without the need for third-party calculations
