Over the last twenty-four years, the number of companies and institutions engaged in science has changed gradually. The list includes three categories: total number of organizations, research organizations, and design organizations. The indicator is measured in units and covers the entire territory of the Russian Federation for the period from 2000 to 2024

Comparing these series reveals the structure of the science industry and the predominant type of organization in the country. Data is presented on an annual basis
