The field reflects the total number of performers, as well as separately — research and design offices. These figures help assess the capacity and specialization of the scientific and technical sector

When comparing rows by type of organization, the overall trend should be taken into account. In recent years, the growth in the number of organizations has been more noticeable in the design development segment, which may indicate a shift in innovation policy priorities. It is important to track not only the total number but also how the share of research and design organizations changes within the overall pool
