The contribution of peasant (farm) holdings to total Russian livestock production from 1990 to 2023 is presented as a percentage of total volume. These data help track changes in the specialization and significance of small-scale farming in the country's agricultural sector over thirty-three years

How to read this table

The differences between the table rows are based on the types of animals produced by farms. One can observe the relationship between the production shares of pigs and cattle relative to the total figure for livestock and poultry for slaughter. Since all values are expressed in percentages, they are useful for assessing the structure of agricultural production and understanding which specific livestock sectors have become more or less prominent in the overall context
