Share of volume of utility services supplied according to metering devices
in percentage
The share of cold and hot water and gas accounted for by measuring devices allows for an assessment of the level of meter installation in the housing stock. Data for 2015–2021 records how the proportion of such services changed in the total volume of supply. For cold water, this indicator changed from 68.4 percent in 2015 to 80.3 percent in 2021. The unit of measurement in all cases is percent, and the data coverage is annual, allowing for the tracking of trends in the country's housing sector over seven years

How to read this table
Different rows in the list correspond to specific types of utility resources: cold water, hot water, and gas. Comparing them allows for understanding which sector saw the most active installation of metering devices and where the process slowed down. Since all values are expressed as a percentage of the total volume of supply for each type of service, the data enables a comparison of the effectiveness of meter implementation across different resources, regardless of their absolute consumption in cubic meters or other units
What is visible in these numbers
The figures are index or percentage values, so they cannot be added up across rows: each one is measured against its own base.
