As of January 1, 2024, 244 refugees were registered in the Russian Federation, and this table shows the detailed distribution of these categories of citizens across the country. The list contains 95 rows, with data grouped by federal districts and individual constituent entities. Columns reflect not only the current status at the beginning of 2024 but also figures for persons granted temporary asylum as of the beginning of 2023 to compare the current migration situation in the regions

This data is used by social policy specialists, migration researchers, and officials in agencies dealing with forcibly displaced persons. The information is presented as a single statistical snapshot covering all constituent entities of the country, allowing for an assessment of the concentration of refugees and persons with temporary asylum in various constituent entities on the reporting date
