Structure of family units by number of children under 18 years of age in constituent entities of the Russian Federation
For each Russian region, data show how many households with children under 18 have one, two, three or more children. These figures are based on census results and reflect both the total number of such households and their structure. Table rows are broken down by family type, from the Russian total to separate lines for married couples, single mothers and single fathers

How to read this table
Columns are split into the number of households and their percentage share for each family type. This allows comparison of how families with children are distributed by number of children across regions. Separate rows for married couples, single mothers and single fathers enable analysis of family structure by type rather than only by number of children
What is visible in these numbers
The set includes the following indicators: Family units with children under 18 years of age*); share of family units (%) — with 1 child; share of family units (%) — with 2 children; share of family units (%) — with 3 or more children
There are 100 values in the table out of 100 possible, which is 100%, meaning the table is almost completely filled
