Number of minors serving sentences in juvenile correctional facilities
for the Russian Federation
From 2008 to 2021, Rosstat recorded the number of adolescents serving sentences in juvenile correctional colonies at the end of each year, broken down by sex. The four table rows show the total number of convicted persons, as well as a breakdown by boys and girls. These data reflect the annual change in the number of minors in the country's penitentiary system. The indicator is measured in persons, covers all regions of Russia, and is presented as annual series for easy tracking of dynamics over fourteen years
