The annual percentage change in the number of children left without parental care at the end of the period from 2009 to 2017 is estimated. Table rows are categorized by constituent entities of the Russian Federation and federal districts, allowing for the tracking of changes in each region separately. The indicator is calculated based on data from the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia, recording annual fluctuations in the number of children in need of special state protection across the country over nine years

It is recommended to compare values both within a single region across different years to identify trends and between different territories within a single year to compare the situation across entities. The series show the annual change in the indicator, identifying periods of increase or decrease in the number of children in specific regions
