Thirty-four years of harvest observations in private households are reflected in these data from 1990 to 2024. Indicators are measured in thousand tonnes and divided into 24 rows by crop type. These include total cereal and legume harvests, as well as specific items such as wheat and barley. Comparing these rows allows for an assessment of the contribution of each crop to the total production volume, which for cereals and legumes over the specified period ranged from 335.35 to 1489.25756 thousand tonnes

Each row contains annual gross harvest values, making it possible to compare the volumes of wheat, barley, and other cereal and legume crops over different periods. It is possible to compare both the indicators of a single crop across different years and the share of individual crops in the total harvest for a specific year, as presented in the category totals

The statistics cover the period from 1990 to 2024 and are regularly updated by Rosstat as revised data are received from agricultural producers. This information is useful for agronomists, economists, and researchers studying the structure of food production in private households. The table helps evaluate the performance of small-scale farming and its role in the total gross harvest of key cereal crops over a long period of time

Table notes: Data for 2007–2017 are adjusted to reflect the results of the All-Russia Agricultural Census of 2016. Data exclude statistical information for the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR), Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions
