Retail trade volume reflects the total value of goods sold to consumers in the country. The indicator describes the scale of retail enterprise operations and consumer spending levels. The list contains twenty-seven rows of data for various years, allowing for the tracking of trade industry development. Columns show values in millions of rubles, while for periods prior to 1998, calculations are in billions of rubles at current prices

Year-on-year percentage changes are provided in constant prices to eliminate the impact of inflation. This approach enables the comparison of trade volumes across different years without distortions caused by changes in currency or state pricing policies
