Language proficiency in Mordovia according to the Population Census
Seven hundred sixty-five thousand nine hundred fifty-seven people made up the entire population of the Republic of Mordovia according to the 2020 All-Russian Census, and this records which languages these people speak. The table contains 100 rows, where data is broken down by specific languages, such as English, as well as by proficiency reporting categories. The rows allow for comparison of language proficiency coverage among various population groups, including those who did not specify their nationality

Period and application
Data was obtained during the 2020 All-Russian Population Census and represents the final results of this large-scale survey. This information will be useful to linguists, demographers, and researchers studying the ethnic and linguistic composition of the region's population. Rosstat has prepared this data snapshot to analyze the current situation in the republic without reference to past trends
