Language proficiency and language use among the population: Samara Region
Three million eighty-four thousand eight hundred eighty-seven people in the Samara Region reported language proficiency, combining urban and rural population data. This statistic reflects the results of the 2020 All-Russian Population Census, recording the number of people proficient in a specific language and the proportion who use it in daily life. For example, rows for specific languages, such as Avar, are listed alongside general proficiency categories, enabling a comparison of the share of speakers of each specific language relative to the total population of the region
