The number of people in Buryatia proficient in the languages of Russia's indigenous small-numbered peoples is available from census statistics. Each row corresponds to a language listed in the census, from Abazin to Yukaghir, and the values show how many people identified the language as their native or spoken language. The data was collected as part of the 2020 All-Russian Population Census and covers all residents of the republic, regardless of ethnicity. The 'Languages indicated by the population' row shows the total number of responses for each language; for example, 3 people indicated Abazin and 6 indicated Yukaghir
