Depreciation of fixed assets by economic activity and technology level
in percentage
Fixed asset depreciation reflects the loss of value during operation. The indicator is calculated based on total book value at mixed prices for commercial and non-profit organizations. A higher value indicates an older equipment stock and higher replacement costs. The table provides data for all fixed assets and leading economic sectors

How to read this table
Rows distinguish between the total depreciation of all fixed assets and specific industries classified by OKVED2007. Indicators can be compared across high, medium, and low-technology industries. Particular attention should be paid to activities where depreciation is increasing more rapidly, signaling a need for modernization. Note also the data for agriculture and fishing, where equipment depreciates more intensely due to specific operating conditions
What is visible in these numbers
Five highest values: Section G / Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles (64.2), Section B / Fishing, fish farming (60.7), Section C / Mining (54.9), Section N / Human health and social services (52.6), Section Q / Activities of extraterritorial organisations and bodies (50.2). The top five account for 28.3% of the total across all items
Annual observations, the dataset contains 9 observation periods. There are 189 values in the table out of 189 possible, that is 100%, meaning the table is almost fully filled
