How to read this table
Differences between rows allow for comparing the efficiency level of the entire country with the indicators of specific oblasts, such as Belgorod or Bryansk. This helps identify which regions consume more resources per unit of value added and which operate more efficiently. Measurements are in kg of fuel equivalent per 10 thousand rubles of GDP, ensuring comparability across all territorial units
What is visible in these numbers
Five highest values: Vologda Region (406.3), Lipetsk Region (367.2), Leningrad Region (238.1), Ryazan Region (233.3), Tver Region (227). The gap between the highest and lowest is 13.7 times. The top five account for 33.6% of the total sum across all positions
Observations are annual; total periods: 5. 125 out of 125 possible values are filled (100%) — almost no empty cells remain

Period and application
Statistical data for the period from 2016 to 2020 is included in the yearbook on sustainable development goals. The information is relevant for energy specialists, ecologists, and economists studying the resource efficiency of the national economy. Rosstat data reflects the dynamics of fuel use in the economy as part of long-term monitoring
How it is calculated
Sustainable development indicators are used in preparing non-financial reporting, evaluating social programs, and international comparisons
