Population by nationality and Russian language proficiency
The population census in the Crimean Federal District collected data on residents' self-identified ethnicity and their level of Russian language proficiency. The table covers 376 categories, including district totals and a detailed breakdown by specific ethnic groups, such as Abazins. It presents the population size of each ethnicity and separately specifies the number of Russian language speakers, subdivided into urban and rural residents for a comprehensive analysis of the region's demographic situation
