From 1990 to 2024, the area of perennial crops across all types of farms varied by crop type. The list presents the total area of fruit and berry crops, as well as their breakdown into pome and stone fruits. Data is measured in thousands of hectares, allowing for the tracking of changes over thirty-four years and providing an overview of horticultural development

The table rows allow for a comparison of the total orchard area with the shares of specific plant groups. The first row provides the total for all fruit and berry crops, while the following two rows detail this figure by distinguishing between pome and stone fruit crops. This breakdown enables an assessment of which crop group occupies a larger share of agricultural land

Period and application

The statistics cover the period from 1990 to 2024 and include data for all categories of farms in the country. Table notes: Data for 2007–2017 are adjusted to reflect results of the 2016 All-Russia Agricultural Census. Data exclude statistical information for the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Luhansk People’s Republic (LPR), Zaporozhye and Kherson regions
