External primary income and current transfers account
The external income and transfers account shows how money flows into Russia from abroad and back out. It covers three key items: balance of external goods and services transactions, compensation of foreign employees, and property income. Each indicator reflects real financial flows between the Russian economy and the rest of the world

The line 'Resources — Balance of external goods and services transactions' shows the difference between exports and imports of goods and services. A positive value would indicate exports exceeding imports, but the data presented show a negative figure, meaning the opposite. The balance reflects how much the country pays for foreign goods and services above their cost
