Over thirty-five years, the level of technical equipment in the agro-industrial complex has changed significantly, and the dynamics of this process from 1990 to 2025 are reflected here. The rows present various parameters: number of tractors per 1000 ha of arable land, arable land area per tractor, and data on grain harvesters. These indicators allow tracking changes in the intensity of machinery use in the country's agricultural organizations

The rows in the table differ by the type of measured parameter, allowing for a comparison of machine density and their workload on cultivated land. One row shows the number of units per a certain area of arable land, while another shows the number of hectares processed per tractor. This approach helps to observe qualitative changes in agricultural mechanization over the entire period under review
What is visible in these numbers
Highest values: maize harvester (2,974), sugar beet harvester (excluding haulm harvesters) (536), grain harvester (460). The gap between the highest and lowest is 424.9 times. The top three account for 84.4% of the total across all positions — distribution is heavily skewed toward the top
Observations are annual; total periods 35. 420 of 420 possible values filled (100%); data gaps are virtually absent

The statistics are published annually and cover the entire territory of the Russian Federation. Data on tractors and combines will be useful to agricultural specialists, economists, and researchers studying the development of machine manufacturing and the efficiency of agricultural machinery use in farms
