Fixed assets renewal rate by OKVED2 2007

The fixed asset renewal rate shows the share of assets replaced by new ones during the reporting period. Values are expressed in terms of total book value at mixed prices for commercial and non-commercial organizations, excluding small businesses. The indicator reflects the intensity of equipment and building replacement in the economy for the period from 2008 to 2016. Rows are broken down by industry, allowing for an assessment of the level of technological modernization in specific economic sectors

The table rows present data for all fixed assets and separately by OKVED2007 sections. In 2016, the fixed asset renewal rate for the economy as a whole was 9.1 percent. For an in-depth analysis of trends, it is important to compare values across the same types of economic activities to understand which industries have higher equipment renewal rates and which remain at low levels. Comparing the national total with individual sections helps assess the contribution of each sector to technological development
