Producer price indices for selected types of goods, 2018–2022
Changes in industrial product prices from 2018 to 2022 are now compiled in one place. Producer price indices for specific goods are presented as a percentage of the previous year. The list includes 56 different items, including steam boilers and synchronous alternating current generators. Annual data allows for tracking how the cost of specific equipment changed over five years without the need for complex calculations from primary documents

Mowers (including cutting devices for tractor mounting), not incl.: the indicator increased from 101.9 to 132.6 over 2018–2022 — by 30.1%. The highest value was 148.8 (2021), the lowest was 101.9 (2018). This is an average annual growth of 6.81%. Of the 25 largest rows, 21 increased, 4 declined
All table numbers are series: 56
How to read this table
Each row in the list corresponds to a specific type of good, allowing for a comparison of price growth rates for different equipment. For example, the cost changes of central heating hot water boilers can be compared with steam generating units. Differences in indices between rows indicate which industrial production segments experienced higher or lower inflation. This approach helps identify the most volatile product groups among the fifty-six items presented
What is visible in these numbers
Five highest values: Mowers (including cutting devices for tractor mounting) (148.8), Special winches for underground operation, units (137.9), Universal agricultural loaders (136.2), General-purpose ploughs, units (134), Other centrifugal pumps for liquid delivery; ... (132.5). The top five account for 22.9% of the total for all items
Annual observations, 5 periods in the dataset. Of 125 possible values, 125 (100%) are filled, meaning the table is almost completely filled

Period and application
The statistics cover the period from 2018 to 2022 and are based on data collected by Rosstat. This information is useful for economists, industrial equipment procurement specialists, and fixed capital investment market analysts. Regular updates of these indicators allow for assessing the real cost of production resources and planning long-term equipment procurement budgets
