Indicators of the availability and condition of fixed assets in the country for the period from 2015 to 2024 are reflected in the annual series. The rows differ by data type: the full book value at year-end, the physical volume index at constant prices, and data on buildings are provided. The full value of assets changed from 160725 to 496609, which reflects the accumulated capital in the economy excluding inflation

How to read this table

The differences between the rows help to separate the monetary valuation of assets from their real quantity. Looking at the book value shows the volume of investment in monetary terms, while the physical volume index at constant prices shows the real change in capacity without the influence of prices. Comparing these two indicators helps to understand to what extent the growth in asset value is due to an actual increase in their quantity rather than inflationary processes

What is visible in these numbers

The largest value belongs to “Availability of fixed assets (at full book value; end of year)1), billion rubles” — 496,609; the smallest is “Disposal rate (disposal of fixed assets during the year, as a percentage of the availability of fixed assets at the beginning of the year, at constant prices)” at 0.6.
