How to read this table
Differences between rows allow for an assessment of net capital inflows or outflows via transfers. Capital transfers received from the rest of the world are accounted for as a positive resource, while transferred funds are indicated with a minus sign. Comparing these indicators with gross savings shows the share of external flows in investment financing relative to domestic savings. This helps to see the actual volume of funds available for economic development in any given year
