Period and application

The statistics are relevant for analyzing business activity and entrepreneurship dynamics by industry for 2023. Monthly data and the annual summary are useful for economists and researchers to assess the rate of business environment renewal. Information is regularly updated by Rosstat as part of monitoring institutional transformations in the economy

How it is calculated

The number of organizations in the industry and its dynamics show whether competitors are increasing or the market is being cleared

As noted in the source: organization birth rate is the ratio of the number of organizations registered during the reporting period to the average number of organizations recorded in the Rosstat Statregister, expressed in per mille. Excluding statistical information for the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR), Zaporozhye and Kherson regions
