Women participating in the micro-census, by nationality and number of children
The micro-census shows how many women aged 15 and over reported their nationality and how many children they have had. Rows are broken down by nationality, allowing comparison of the number of women surveyed for each and the distribution of responses on the number of children, including those who did not report this figure. A total of 1,000,695 women were surveyed, of whom 7,028 did not report the number of children they had. The data are one-off and cover the entire country

How to read this table
Nationality is the main criterion for differentiation here: from the first row with summary data for Russia to specific peoples. Columns show the number of women of each nationality who reported a certain number of children or did not report it at all. This allows differences between peoples in family structure to be seen, without substituting for comprehensive demographic studies
What is visible in these numbers
The dataset includes the following indicators: Total surveyed; Women who indicated the number of children born; of them with the number of children born; Total number of children born; Average number of children born (per 1 000 women); Women who did not indicate the number of children born
There are 150 values in the table out of 150 possible, which is 100%; there are practically no data gaps

Period and application
The micro-census provides a snapshot of the country: who, how many, and of what nationality — all responses are collected in one table. It is used by specialists in ethnography, sociology, and those developing social programs. Data updates are one-off, with no dynamics across different years
