Age groups include separate categories for ages 15–17 and 18–19, as well as older cohorts. The table columns show the total number of respondents, women with a specific number of children, and those who did not specify this indicator

Age groups and number of children vary for each nationality, so rows cannot be directly compared between different peoples. Within a single nationality, it is possible to see how many women in each age group have children and how many did not specify this indicator. The data represent a snapshot at the time of the microcensus and are not tied to specific calendar years

Period and application
The microcensus results cover all regions of Russia and include women aged 15 and older. Rosstat publishes updated data as it becomes available, allowing changes in the structure of the female population by nationality, age and fertility to be tracked. This information is useful for demographers, sociologists and specialists in ethnic statistics
